ABOUT THE EVENT
🎯 Join Four Locv for an interactive demonstration exploring the traditional blow dart hunting practices of Southeastern Tribal Nations.
Participants will learn about the history and cultural significance of blowguns, observe traditional river cane blowguns, and receive instruction on proper loading, aiming, breathing techniques, and shooting posture. After the demonstration, participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills using handmade darts and blowguns.
Depending on group size and time, Four Locv may also demonstrate traditional dart-making techniques using thistle down.
Please note: Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.
