✨Greenwood Griots Tour of Black Wall Street with Kode Ransom ✨

Friday, February 27

Time: 6:30–8:30pm

📢COMMUNITY NIGHT: BIPOC EDITION! (this space is reserved for the BIPOC community)

As Black History Month comes to a close we want to hold space for not only our Afro-Indigenous relatives but our African-American community too! Storytelling is essential to not only Native American people but cultures from around the world are nourished by their storykeepers. Through this tour Kode Ransom weaves together the shared history of Oklahoma's BIPOC community while encouraging us to learn more about the land we stand on.

This tour is led by Kode Ransom, Owner of Greenwood Griots. A griot (pronounced gree-oh) is a West African storyteller, historian, poet, and musician who preserves and passes down oral traditions. So when you hear Greenwood Griots, think of a modern-day space honoring that tradition—where our stories are sacred.
