🪵Southeastern Woodworking Workshop with Dan Beaver 🪵

Time: 12:00–3:00pm


Join us for a hands-on woodworking workshop with Dan Beaver. We will explore history from Southeastern Woodlands tribes, traditional materials as well as tool & weapons used by the tribes of the region. You will also have a chance to make a small traditional wood piece to take home with you! This workshop is open to all experience levels and ages, no prior woodworking experience necessary with all materials provided and light refreshments to be served. We have a few spaces saved for elders and community members with accessibility issues; If you believe you qualify please contact us at info@burningcedar.org .


Dan Beaver is a citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation, Tuckabatchee tribal town, and is Fuswvlke (Bird Clan). He is a also a Northern Traditional dancer. Beaver uses traditional Southeastern designs from the Mississippian period, also known…
