Yuchi Language Class

Join us for Yuchi Language Class, a recurring community learning circle hosted by the zOyaha School of Language, a youth-led organization dedicated to learning and sharing the Yuchi language. These weekly classes, led by Brent Deo and Melanie Dunn, focus on grammar, conversation, comprehension, and writing skills in the Yuchi language.

This event is rooted in language revitalization, cultural restoration, and community connection, offering a welcoming space for all ages, all skill levels, and all nationalities to learn together and help carry the Yuchi language forward. Each week, expect to practice new words and phrases, explore traditional stories, and strengthen speaking skills through guided lessons and group activities.

No prior experience needed.

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL + FREE TO ATTEND!
